⛪The Venue:
The Collegiate Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon, is a Grade I listed parish church. It is often known simply as Shakespeare's Church, due to its fame as the place of baptism and burial of William Shakespeare.
The church contains many interesting features:
- A 14th-century sanctuary knocker in the church's porch
- The 15th-century Clopton chantry chapel
- Twenty-six 15th-century misericord seats in the chancel, with religious, secular and mythical carvings
- Several large stained glass windows featuring major English and Biblical saints at the church's east and west ends
- The American window in St Peter's Chapel, unveiled in 1896 and inscribed "The Gift of America to Shakespeare's Church"
- Copies of the baptismal and burial records of William Shakespeare

🎼Meet the Director:
James Fellows is Artistic Director and founder of Luceat, and Assistant Organist at Radley College. With Luceat he directed the first student-led performance in Oxford of Bach’s Mätthaus Passion. Their two recordings have received critical acclaim and featured on BBC Radio 3. At Radley, James plays a significant role in curating one of the country’s largest organ departments, as well as accompanying the schools renowned chapel choir in daily services. James’s doctoral research at the University of Oxford looks at the choral and liturgical tradition of San Petronio, Bologna during the 16th century.
James has held the positions of Master of Music at Pusey House and Graduate Organ Scholar at Trinity College, and most recently as Assistant Organist at Somerville College. He has performed in venues across Europe and the UK on tour and recordings with the choirs of Keble College and St Giles’ Church, notably in the Basilica of St Francis of Assisi and Notre Dame de Paris. He regularly gives recitals, recently at Christ Church Cathedral, Blenheim Palace and Cirencester Parish Church.

Colin Millington is a Warwickshire based organist and newly appointed Director of Music of Holy Trinity Stratford-upon-Avon. Colin has been organ scholar of both Corpus Christi College, Cambridge as well as the Collegiate Church of St Mary’s Warwick, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Organists.

🎵Meet the choir:
Founded in 2017 by Director James Fellows, Luceat was established to sing a week-long residency at Peterborough Cathedral. Designed primarily to give young singers the opportunity to perform in some of Britain's most beautiful spaces, the choir has gone from strength to strength, and now brings together some of the finest young voices in the country. Many of our members sing in ensembles such as Genesis Sixteen, The 24, Sestina, and hold Choral Scholarships in the UK's premier collegiate environments. Luceat also counts a number of more experienced professionals among its members, including many current or former Lay Clerks, who bring a wealth of wisdom and insight to the choir's rich sound.
